“The Old Jail in Charleston really does contain an energy of its own. Our tour guide Braxton was informative and engaging. He was also very considerate of those who may have been scared and made sure everyone was well. If you really want to come face-to-face with a troubled ghost, bring your camera and visit here.”
“Attended an after dark tour of the Old Charleston Jail 7/5/18- an unforgettable experience. Sean was a great guide, and Jason was wonderful too. Found several orbs in photographs and my family member reported hearing clanking and far off conversations from behind her.”
“The tour was excellent! Everything you would expect from a scary tour. Our guide Adam was well spoken, informed and went at a comfortable pace to meet everyone’s needs! Highly recommended experience when visiting Charleston!”
“This is the 3rd ghost tour I've done in Charleston and it was one of the best. I had some tactile experiences including something touching my hand, breathing in my face and on my arm. Randy was very knowledgeable and a great guide!”
“This would have had to be one of the most scariest thing I have done. This is great for people who love scary things. Right when I walked in the jail I felt itchy and loss of breath and just felt heavy. An amazing experience”
“Done a ton of tours all kinds- Andrea our guide was great from how built in revolutionary grave to all stories of real torture and horror of 14k plus who pershied - Ypu FEEL the meg energy! Do did my husband who is not a believer in anything like this- son is history Major- Very important to know what occurred blocks from the Battery mansions! A must see - and today jails have TV! ? Go ASAP! True history soon sold - Bullfog scores again ! Thx 8 pm was great!”
“Just as with my first Ghost and Graveyard Walking tour with Bulldog Tours a few years ago, the tour of the Old Charleston Jail was very thought-provoking. Eric Lavender was a super guide - knowledgeable and attentive. The history of this landmark is gruesome and visiting on a cold, rainy night only added to the experience. Priced right and a perfect length. Can't wait for my next visit to Charleston and my next tour with Bulldog Tours.”
